WhatsApp messaging for Shopify stores, sent from the store's own number
EasyWhatsApp lets Shopify merchants send order updates, abandoned-cart reminders and opt-in marketing messages to their customers on WhatsApp. Each merchant connects their own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's official signup and stays in control of every message.
Contact us See how it worksWhat merchants can do
Everything runs inside the Shopify admin. Messages use templates approved by Meta and go only to customers who have opted in.
Abandoned-cart recovery
Automatically remind shoppers who left items in their cart, with a link back to checkout.
Order notifications
Send confirmations, shipping and fulfilment updates, and cancellation notices as orders change.
Marketing campaigns
Send promotions to opted-in customers. Opt-outs are honoured automatically.
Consent & opt-in tools
Opt-in popups and order-status widgets collect consent. STOP replies and WhatsApp's own unsubscribe control are recorded.
Template management
Create WhatsApp message templates, submit them to Meta for approval and track their status.
Catalog & analytics
Sync Shopify products to a WhatsApp catalog and track sent, delivered and read messages and recovered carts.
How it works
The merchant owns their WhatsApp Business Account and phone number. EasyWhatsApp only sends messages on their behalf, with their permission.
- Install from the Shopify App StoreThe merchant approves the app's Shopify permissions and picks a plan through Shopify Billing.
- Connect WhatsApp with Meta's Embedded SignupIn a Meta popup, the merchant logs in to Facebook, selects or creates their business and WhatsApp Business Account, verifies a phone number and grants EasyWhatsApp permission to send messages for them.
- Set up templates and opt-inThe merchant creates message templates (approved by Meta) and enables opt-in widgets on their storefront.
- Messages send automaticallyCart and order events from Shopify trigger WhatsApp messages from the merchant's number. Delivery status and customer replies flow back into the app.
- Disconnect at any timeMerchants can remove the app in Shopify or Meta. Their data is then deleted as described in our data deletion instructions.
